Welcome spring with Chef Michela Tartaglia, chef-owner of Pike Place Market’s Pasta Casalinga and author of Pasta For All Seasons, in a hands-on class built around seasonal ingredients and the simple pleasures of cooking together. Michela is joined by her mother, Nonna Gina, bringing a steady hand, good stories, and the kind of ease that makes the kitchen feel friendly right away.

We will start with frittelle di ortiche, delicate stinging nettle fritters featuring one of the season’s first wild greens. Then we will make cicatielli tossed with spring radicchio, pancetta, walnuts, and gorgonzola dolce, a comforting but bright pasta dish from Michela’s cookbook. We will finish with scaloppine al limone con piselli: tender pork cutlets with lemon and sweet spring peas.

We will cook the full menu together, taste along the way, and sit down at the end to enjoy the meal family-style, welcoming spring at the table in very good company.

At each Class on the Farm you will get the chance to enjoy Bellsong Creamery cheeses, sip a glass of something special, and gather around a beautifully prepared meal.
