Come join us for a fun and relaxed class all about Lambrusco, the sparkling red wine that’s sure to delight! Sommelier Janet Beeby will take us on a journey through this bubbly beauty’s rich history, the art of making it, and the variety of styles it has to offer. We’ll learn aboutand snack onthe regional foods of Emilia Romagna where Lambrusco originates; like Mortadella with pistachio pesto, and Parmigiano-Reggiano with aged Balsamico. We’ll learn how to pair each course perfectly with this delightful, fizzy wine. Stephanie Eburah, chef/owner of Ebb & Company, will take over class  by guiding you through how to make a traditional gnocco fritto served with Prosciutto di Parma. We’ll then dive into making Erbazzone, a savory pie made with stinging nettles and Bellsong creamery’s caciotta cheese. You will then stroll through the gardens and tour the farm with Pam, the owner of Bella Luna, before we sit down in the Grapehouse to feast on lunch which will include tortellini in Brodo, a treviso salad, more lambrusco, and then finish it all off with a Torta Barozzi paired with a dessert lambrusco. This is the perfect opportunity to sip, sample and savor as we dive into the rich culinary traditions of Italy’s heartland. We can’t wait to share it all with you!
