The winter is dark and cold but in the Alps, the fires are cozy, the cheese is deliciously gooey and the wines are fresh and vibrant. Join us as we will explore the indigenous grapes and winemaking styles of mountainous cooler climate regions such as Savoie, Bugey, Jura, Valle d’Aosta, Valais & Alto Adige. In this class taught by Stephanie Eburah of Ebb & Company, we’ll cozy up in the Larder, our schoolhouse kitchen, and taste through 7 different wines paired with the delicious Alpine inspired cheeses from our own Bellsong Creamery as well as other traditional snacks of the regions. It will be a fun afternoon learning about some lesser known varietals while warming our bellies with a comforting lunch and taking in the beauty of the farm in winter.

Stephanie Eburah

Stephanie Eburah is the chef and owner of Ebb & Company, a business she started 5 years ago with the passion of bringing people around the table in unique ways to build community and celebrate the bounty of the local area. She has cooked professionally in San Francisco and Seattle for the past 25 years, 10 of which was as culinary director for California Caviar Company where she worked closely with renowned chefs such as Jaques Pepin developing products and recipes as well as running their caviar café.
