As summer begins its gentle fade, join beloved Northwest chef and frequent Bella Luna instructor Bruce Naftaly for a sunlit afternoon that captures the fleeting magic of the fall harvest. In this hands-on class, Bruce will guide you through a menu that celebrates the richness and ripeness of late summer—beginning with a beautiful heirloom tomato soup, a dish that distills summer into every spoonful. You’ll also help prepare local albacore with a roasted red pepper, tomato, and basil beurre blanc, and a tender pork loin paired with the sweet surprise of grilled watermelon and sage sauce. The afternoon will close on a fragrant note with a delicate peach and rose geranium sorbet, the perfect whisper of summer’s end. Come cook, taste, and savor in the golden hour of the farm, as the fields offer up their last, most glorious gifts.
