Celebrate the early days of spring with Chef Michela Tartaglia, chef-owner of Pike Place Market’s beloved Pasta Casalinga and author of Pasta For All Seasons, in a hands-on Italian cooking class rooted in tradition, seasonality, and family. Joining Michela in the kitchen is her mother, Nonna Gina, lending a hand, sharing stories, and bringing the warmth that will make this class feel like a true Italian family gathering. Drawing inspiration from fresh, spring-forward ingredients, we will prepare a seasonal menu that begins with frittelle di ortiche, delicate stinging nettle fritters showcasing one of the season’s first wild greens. From there, we will make cicatielli tossed with spring radicchio, pancetta, walnuts, and gorgonzola dolce, a comforting yet vibrant pasta dish straight from Michela’s cookbook. The afternoon finishes with scaloppine al limone con piselli, tender lemon-kissed pork cutlets with sweet spring peas. We will cook the full menu together, tasting along the way, and sit down at the end to enjoy the meal together, welcoming spring at the table.

At each Class on the Farm you will get the chance to enjoy Bellsong Creamery cheeses, sip a glass of something special, and gather around a beautifully prepared meal.
