Join us for a cozy autumn day on the farm as we celebrate Veterans Day surrounded by the beauty and bounty of Bella Luna Farms! With crisp fall air, farm animals to visit and a delicious harvest-inspired menu, it’s the perfect way to spend a day away from school.
 
We’ll begin in the kitchen by getting our hands into the flour and learning the art of homemade pasta from scratch. Young chefs will mix, knead, roll and cut their own fresh pasta before creating a creamy Pumpkin Alfredo Sauce filled with the warm, comforting flavors of the season.
 
Then it’s time to celebrate one of fall’s sweetest harvests! Using fresh apples picked right here at Bella Luna Farms, we’ll create delicious Apple Pie Maple Bars. Young chefs will make a buttery shortbread crust, prepare our farm-fresh apples with cozy fall spices and finish the bars with a touch of maple sweetness. It’s a delicious little taste of autumn straight from the farm!
 
Of course, a day at Bella Luna is about so much more than what happens in the kitchen. We’ll explore the beautiful farm, visit with the animals, gather fresh eggs and soak up a little November farm magic. And no visit would be complete without saying hello to our favorite four-legged friend… Stinky the Donkey!
