There is more to a great meatball than just a good recipe. Join Chef Lauren Thompson of Café Lago for a hands-on class exploring the principles behind making meatballs that are tender and flavorful, from choosing and combining ingredients to mixing, shaping, seasoning, and understanding different cooking methods.

We will make several different styles throughout the class, including Café Lago’s classic Aunt Polly’s meatballs as well as a vegetarian version, exploring different ingredients and techniques along the way. You’ll come away with a better understanding of what makes a great meatball and plenty of ideas to bring back to your own kitchen.

We’ll finish by gathering around the table to enjoy everything we’ve made together.

At each Class on the Farm you will get the chance to enjoy Bellsong Creamery cheeses, sip a glass of something special, and gather around a beautifully prepared meal.
