Join us for an afternoon on the farm where we’ll wander the woods in search of wild spring edibles. Led by instructor Ashley Rodrigueza Seattle-based writer, eco-spiritual guide, photographer, and the author of four bookswe’ll gather a few ingredients and point out many others along the journey that are easy to identify for any curious forager. Back in the kitchen, we’ll cook together and share a spring feast with recipes from and inspired by Ashley’s latest cookbook, Rooted Kitchen. The springtime fresh menu will capture the best of the season, and the gifts provided by nature: Radishes dipped in wild greens butter; Spruce tip cured salmon with Rye cracker and crème fraîche; smoked asparagus and turnips with nettle Furikake; chicken with spring onions and Morel cream; and, finally a rhubarb and lilac Pavlova to finish. Come and join us!
